I Dispettosi (Birds of a Feather)
by Emma Lidia Squillari
Small beautiful birds have taken over the park. But these are no ordinary birds. They don’t sing, or warble, or chirp. They don’t peep, cheep, or even twitter or trill. Oh, no! These birds fight loudly. They squawk. They cackle and they peck. And yes, they love pooping on people! What will it take these naughty and haughty birds to learn to live in harmony?
Young readers might even recognize a friend, a sibling, a classmate or themselves in one of the one hundred birds featured and named in the book!
Read an interview with Lidia about the book (in Italian).
